Grant is a guardian of Lissa. During Lissa's visit to Lehigh, he accompanies her along with Serena and the guardians of Priscilla Voda. He and Serena teach Lissa and Christian basic moves of defense and in staking a Strigoi. He is massacred with Priscilla's other guardians before Lissa and Christian are taken away.
